El Mirlo Rojo is a full-length Mexican animated feature film from 2003. It tells the story of a school girl called Tere who escapes from her widowed father Enrique and hides in a forest called "El Bosque Grande", but soon finds herself in a city inside the forest, inhabited by animals. Enrique is looking for her, helped by his friend José. While he is searching for her, the girl meets new friends and also helps some of them to fulfill their dreams.
